Your mind shouldn’t be exclusively on work, of course, on the 1st. You need to relax a little on the first day of the year! But whenever your mind does wander to your work, you’ll find that you come up with a whole bunch of plans. A new book project? A new waiting room for patients? A new branch of the firm in an exotic, seaside location? Where you can step out of the office and be under a coconut tree? All the while making deals from your cell phone? Great! If even a fraction of these plans come to fruition, it will be a rich year, indeed. On the 5th, be flexible, especially with your coworkers. They’re more stressed out than you know. On the 10th, keep your eyes open. A new perspective could be helpful. On the 14th, your friends’ advice is worth taking. On the 19th, luck, good energy and great ideas are all on your side. Go for the gusto! On the 24th and 25th, it’s a great time to go over all of those details (how much does a cell phone contract cost on that coconut-tree-filled island?). On the 30th and 31st, relax. You’ve done all you can … for now.

On the 26th, go ahead and get into a light debate, but check out to do the dishes before it gets too heavy. On the 31st, dare to dream — and don’t forget to dance!
